The Nocturne series will be held once again in Sala Apolo on Friday and Saturday, both in Nitsa and Astin. The line-up features innovative and reinvented electronic music, with avant-garde technologies and atypical instruments, accompanied by fascinating images.

Note: The Nocturne 2 ticket gives you access to both rooms for the entire night on Saturday, April 13th.

Actress (UK)

British electronic artist Darren Cunningham, who hides behind the stage name Actress, will land in Barcelona to present his latest studio album LXXXVVVVIII, the culmination of 25 years of perfecting audio infusions for dancefloors, festivals, raves and concert halls.

Pantha du Prince (DE)

Hendrik Weber, better known as Pantha du Prince, returns to MUTEK Barcelona to premiere a new Live AV show based entirely on the reissue of his acclaimed album 'This Bliss'. With a prolific catalog, the German has earned a place in the international electronic music scene, moving from minimalist and dreamy techno to more melodic rhythms and deep textures. The elegance of his style and a close link with nature have led him to create a wide soundscape.

LANAV (CAT/ES)

LANAV's musical journey has taken her to prominent venues such as Primavera Sound, Sonàr, Nitsa x Dekmantel (Apolo) and Human Club (Razzmatazz. Her work has been featured on stations such as NTS, The Lot Radio, Kiosk, Rinse and Noods. Notably, she co-founded the Catalan non-profit collective and label Abundance. Her passion for sound design also encompasses film and advertising projects, as well as the creation of immersive soundscapes for exhibitions and, notably, the co-production of her Adelaide debut album.

Honeydrip (QC/CA)

One of the most prominent names in the current Montreal underground DJ scene who, in addition to collaborating with some of the most avant-garde labels in Europe, is known for her creative mixes, high energy and bass-laden selections ranging from UK bass to leftfield techno and everything in between. Honeydrip is coming to storm Barcelona crowd with an incredible DJ set.

Acid Thermal (VE/ES)

Visual artist and videographer, who has worked with artists such as Derrick May, Oscar Mulero, Point G, Funk D'Void or Maceo Plex among others, and his way of representing sound on the screens, creates an atmosphere and a connection between the audience and the DJ, from tension, joy, sadness to madness represented by a variety of images, colours and through analogue filters that allow the perfect feeling with the music and video.


Astin


Jlin (US)

Jlin, one of America's most distinctive composers and one of the most influential women in electronic music. Jlin's exciting, emotive and multi-dimensional compositions have earned her praise as "one of the most forward-thinking contemporary composers in any genre" (Pitchfork). She was nominated for the 2023 Pulitzer Prize for Perspectives - originally commissioned and performed by Third Coast Percussion - and her mini-album Perspective, featuring the versions of her own compositions.

Iglooghost (UK)

The UK-based artist who creates music, artworks and puzzles that gravitate around a fictional ecosystem of strange entities and tiny gods, will bring his Live AV show for a unique edition of the festival celebrating its 15th anniversary in Barcelona. Each of his releases expands this universe through multimedia content.

Jehia (EG/ES)

Jehia is a Cairo-born, Barcelona-based DJ who is earning his place in both local scenes. From a very young age he has been exposed to a wide variety of musical styles, and influenced by Jungle, Bass, IDM and Deconstructed Club sounds, with which he has developed a unique style that is both dark and very energetic. He will bring to MUTEK his dynamic DJ sets, which are characterised by intense beats and intricate melodies.

DJ Metaforas (CAT/ES)

DJ Metaforas is the alias or 'meme' behind Frankie Pizá, a DJ from Barcelona whose entity is defined by expressive, rhythmic and eclectic impulses, and who joins the line up with a DJ set that combines techno, acid, jungle and many more electronic dissociations.

HiTech (US)

HiTech is a triple-threat collaboration created in Detroit between rapper/producer/DJ King Milo, Milf Melly and 47Chops. The trio is putting a modern twist on Detroit's electrifying ghettotech sound with a mouthful of Hennessy and a double dose of fast-paced techno. They will make their Barcelona debut with a highly anticipated performance for MUTEK's 15th anniversary.
