Jehia joins the line-up of MUTEK, a Cairo born, Barcelona based Dj who is quickly making a name for himself in both of these local scenes. He was exposed to a diverse range of musical styles from an early age, where he was particularly drawn to electronic music. Influenced by the sounds of Jungle, Bass, IDM, and Deconstructed Club, Jehia has developed a unique style that is both dark and highly energetic.
Seamlessly blending together tracks from a wide range of genres, Jehia is already becoming known for his dynamic DJ sets, which are characterized by their intense rhythms and intricate melodies. His sound is highly influenced by his surroundings, particularly by the frenetic energy of Cairo’s crowded streets, and now even more with the fast-paced environment of the city of Barcelona.
