Malika is a Casablanca-born DJ and selector. For the past decade, she’s been traveling and living across continents and feeding her appetite for collecting records.
Both of her works in Music Supervision and as a DJ rely on a shared core skill: picking out the right sound for any given context. Malika’s skills as a DJ have seen her play at Clubs like Robert Johnson in Frankfurt and festivals like Oasis and Dimensions and do her Boiler Room debut in the very early days of her career.
Her style and selection are informed by an enduring love for Jazz, Hip-Hop and House which she often captures and blend all-together in her self-released mixes.
Although she believes in artistry being a way to denounce the injustice of this world, she strives through Music to evade them, allowing herself to daydream and enter a joyful yet sophisticated and soothing universe and taking along with her whoever wants to listen.
