(+ charges fee)The Nocturne series will be held once again in Sala Apolo on Friday and Saturday, both in Nitsa and Astin. The line-up features innovative and reinvented electronic music, with avant-garde technologies and atypical instruments, accompanied by fascinating images.
Important: Following the unfortunate cancellation of Ricardo Villalobos due to an emergency dental operation, the dynamics of Nocturne 1 have changed. Now, all attendees will have access to both rooms, Nitsa and Astin, throughout the night.

One of the leading contemporary producers, widely acclaimed in the international techno circuit for his distinctive atmospheric, hypnotic take on techno music. After an epic set in our 10th anniversary, it is an absolute honor to have him again to celebrate 15 years with an exclusive 3 hour deep house set inspired in his legendary Panorama Bar sessions.

The Uruguayan artist will premiere her live set which mixes enigmatic dark sounds, acid bass lines and is always marked by peculiar grace and rhythm.
Maher Daniel (PS/US)
American-born Palestinian DJ Maher will also be part of this very special edition of MUTEK Barcelona with his multifaceted and ever-growing catalogue of music.
Acid Thermal (VE/ES)
Visual artist and videographer, who has worked with artists such as Derrick May, Oscar Mulero, Point G, Funk D'Void or Maceo Plex among others, and his way of representing sound on the screens, creates an atmosphere and a connection between the audience and the DJ, from tension, joy, sadness to madness represented by a variety of images, colours and through analogue filters that allow the perfect feeling with the music and video.

Nick León & Ezra Miller (CO/US)
Nick León, the guardian of Miami's club sound who is only growing with his rhythmic and animated productions. At the festival, León will join designer and visual artist Ezra Miller, known for his inventive and fluid creations that span real-time generative art, interactive websites, live performances and immersive experiences, for the Spanish premiere of their audiovisual collaboration.
Sofia Kourtesis (PE/DE)
Sofia Kourtesis, the Berlin-based Peruvian producer, vocalist and DJ will present her album 'Madres' at the Barcelona festival with a moving live audiovisual performance. The album is largely a tribute to her mother, who had to fight to survive cancer, but also to Peter Vajkoczy, the world-renowned neurosurgeon who gave them hope. Mothers contains the shadows of those years of struggle and suffering, as well as the artist's mental health journey.
Pelada (CA/QC)
Pelada, the duo of Chris Vargas and Tobias Rochman, emerged from Montreal's underground rave scene in 2014 after uploading tracks to SoundCloud that caught the attention of the global dance music scene. They will be presenting their long-awaited second album, 'Now More Than Ever', is a collection of 12 new songs in which the Montreal electronic punk duo push boundaries and delve deeper into their signature sound, to create something even more raw, chaotic, expressive and direct.

She is one of the most exciting artists in Latin America who has toured the dance floors of all the clubs in the city: Nitsa, Human, Moog and festivals such as Baum Festival (Bogotá), Videoclub (Bogotá), Inmersion (Medellín), Stereo Picnic (Bogotá). His style as a DJ is heterogeneous, forceful, complex and technical. Mixing polyrhythmic tracks across different genres: Techno, Speed Dembow, UK Beaks, traveling at the speed of light through a wide range of BPMs.
