MUTEK Barcelona celebrates 11 clicks around the sun on March 4-7, 2020, with 4 days and nights of live electronic music, audiovisual performances, professional activities and more. After a decade of explorations and discoveries, we are preparing for a new era as a platform for dissemination and innovation in digital creativity with activities that will be developed and presented throughout the year. The first wave of confirmed artists and other activities will be unveiled in November!
CALL FOR ARTISTS
National and local artists are the heart and soul of each edition of MUTEK Barcelona, so the festival opens its annual call to receive proposals for live shows, audiovisual presentations and installations.
MUTEK is a platform with special emphasis on live performances, so DJ Mixes will not be considered. The projects must be from artists currently residing in Barcelona and can be sent by email to: bcn@mutek.org. The deadline to submit proposals will be November 8, 2019.
MUTEK & BRITISH COUNCIL #WeAreEquals
MUTEK is an active partner of the British Council's #WeAreEquals program, the platform for gender equality and diversity in the field of electronic music. The call to be part of the program will open in November.
