Nerone^IT

Alberto Nerone (aka Nerone) is the general & artistic director of MUTEK Barcelona. He´s been active in the music industry as a DJ and events organizer for over 20 years. In 2003 he moved to Barcelona and started promoted events at the main clubs of the city, generated collaborations with other European promoters and started running international bookings for Moog club from 2006-2011. From 2012 - 2019 Nerone was the artistic director of Indigo Raw Events & Media, presenting 5 editions of the IR festival, which hosted over 200 artistas and more than 7000 people per edition. In this time, the company hosted over 100 events and collaborated with promoters and international brands including Boiler Room, Innervisions, Dekmantel, Garbicz. The Indigo Raw record label was also reactivated with international releases from Mathew Jonson, Atom Tm, Deadbeat, Dewalta & Shannon, Kazuya Nagaya, Murcof and many more.

As a DJ, Nerone's fluid style, which is praised for his ability to evolve rather than follow the latest music fads, flirts with genres as varied as breaks, house, techno and even a certain experimentation, which may border on psychedelic.
