GLOR1A is a music, performance and visual artist and activist, a self identified alien blurring the lines of fantastical and sci fi as she develops femme empowered worlds for audiences to devour. Having exhibitions across borders including Institute of Contemporary arts London and Rele Gallery Lagos and performances from South Korea to Berlin, her stance on global action is evident.
Interested in the development of an alternative black art system, Gloria is co-founder of the platform “Ninenights”, an art and music initiative to empower the creative talent of the African-American community worldwide that raises money for charities in her country and in the whole world.
En MUTEK AR 2022, GLOR1A presentará su último trabajo con la artista canadiense Frances McKenzie, posible gracias a Artlab x Amplify D.A.I. Programa de Artista en Residencia.
