Libby Heaney's (she/her) post-disciplinary art practice includes moving image works, performances, and participatory and interactive experiences that span quantum computing, virtual reality, and AI. She has exhibited her work widely including as part of the 2017 EU capital of culture in Aarhus, Somerset House Studios (online 2020), Arebyte Gallery (online 2020), Tate Modern (London 2016, 2019), and many more. She is a resident of the iconic London institution Somerset House Studios, where she is developing artworks using quantum computers.
Appears as part of AMPLIFY D.A.I, an initiative of the British Council in partnership with MUTEK Montréal, MUTEK Buenos Aires and Somerset House Studios in the UK. The programme is supported by Canada Council for the Arts.
