Digital Inter/Section (DI/S) is a multi-year initiative of Chroniques (France), Chromatic (Canada), Kikk (Belgium), Kontejner (Croatia), Signal (Czech Republic) and THE CATALYSTS (Germany).
Ilaria Bondavalli (Chroniques) will present how they investigate the monetization trends that keep the art world excited. How do they finance themselves? What are the business models they use? We can talk about numbers, but also about the fears and hopes for the future of the digital arts sector. Spoiler alert: collaboration is king!
A MUTEK Montréal and MUTEK Barcelona co-production in collaboration with BAU Research and the Master's in Audiovisual Innovation and Interactive Environments at BAU.
With the support of Gouvernement du Québec, Bureau du Québec à Barcelone, Acción Cultural Española AC/E (PICE Program), Institut de Cultura de Barcelona (ICUB), Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals (ICEC) through its internationalization brand Catalan Arts, and Xn Québec.
