Jamie DrouinCA
Jamie Drouin (b. 1970) is a Canadian visual and sound artist. His work focuses on the history and ecology of contemporary landscapes, with the changing technologies and social patterns which influence and reshape them.
Drouin’s numerous collaborative projects have included prominent artists such as David Sylvian, Lucio Capece, and John Tilbury, in addition to his multi-decade creative partnership with Lance Austin Olsen.
His work has appeared at international art symposiums such as the Biennial of the Americas, MUTEK, Sonica, and TodaysArt, with solo exhibitions in Japan, Hong Kong, Canada, Kazakhstan, and Germany.
His installations have been exhibited in Japan, Germany, the United States, Canada, and the Internet; his enigmatic photos have been published in ava books (GB), and photo life (CA). Always interested in sharing his recent finds, heard or experienced, Jamie Drouin orchestrates his multiple influences into his specialized audio-visual pieces.
