MUTEK Barcelona will capture its unmistakable identity with a day of pure avant-garde on April 11: Rival Consoles, Loidis aka Huerco S, ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, Tukico aka Hoshiko Yamane and Carmen Jaci & Matthew Schoen, among others.

Digital creativity and electronic music in a lineup that is actually two: an evening of three performances in Sala Apolo and a whole club session in the two rooms of Nitsa Club to connect the night and the early morning.

MUTEK Connect > Sala Apolo

First, Rival Consoles, Tukico aka Hoshiko Yamane and Carmen Jaci & Matthew Schoen will perform at Sala Apolo in a date of electronic textures in three dimensions. The British pianist and composer, standard-bearer of the Erased Tapes factory, will premiere both his new album and his new live show; the Japanese violinist, member of Tangerine Dream, will continue to unlock new dimensions with her instrument of choice; finally, the Canadian-Dutch duo will display their animated fantasies in footwork key.

MUTEK Connect > Nitsa Club

Then, already in club time, the two rooms of Nitsa Club will host a marathon of dance in all its forms headed by Huerco S. with his acclaimed dub-techno alias Loidis, DJ Tennis and Ashee presenting in world premiere their new project Tenashee and ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, idol of the Japanese underground recently become a modern landmark in the history of Boiler Room (and the internet). Canadians Flabbergast, Chile's Isa Rojas and the local talent of Spacer and Sugar Free complete the lineup.

In total, ten performances to shape MUTEK Connect and thus begin to mark the path that will lead to the next edition of MUTEK Barcelona.
