Explorer of sonorous spaces near the outer limits for several years now, Pablo Reche is an Argentinean composer as mesmerized by the power of silence, and the intervals between breaths, as he is by the massive sound induced by the multi-layering of powerful noises most easily definable as post-industrial.
A South American akin to Francisco Lopez, Reche has come to develop a sonic niche all his own. A deeply committed audio researcher, he submits sounds to all kinds of analyses, manipulations and disarticulations. His compositions are the result of meticulous study and minimal contamination by direct outside influences; they progressively occupy a place at the heart of a nebula populated by noise proponents, giving Reche an emotional space all his own.
His presence at MUTEK corroborates his work, and the fact that Reche is a figure to watch out for as he advances on the international scene.
